FPV drone · A DroneBXL speciality
FPV video in Brussels: one continuous take, from the front door to the back of the room
Your venue is toured in under two minutes, without a single cut. Viewers enter, move through and understand the space before their first visit.
A conventional drone films your venue from above, in slow passes. An FPV drone enters through the door, weaves between the tables and continues to the back of the room. The whole take runs uncut, with no edit stitching the shots together.
FPV stands for first person view. The remote pilot wears goggles and sees the camera feed live. This is what makes tight gaps, ground-level passes and indoor flights possible.
Many clients describe it as a virtual tour. One point sets it apart: nothing is reconstructed. There are no stitched interior photographs and no frozen 360-degree panorama. One flight, filmed in real conditions.
FPV is a DroneBXL speciality. Flights are carried out by a DGTA-certified remote pilot under the EASA framework, with €1.6M professional liability cover. The Poseidon ice rink, a luxury villa and an alpine ski resort have already been flown this way.
FPV use cases
- 01
One continuous take
Entrance, rooms, terrace: a single unbroken shot shows how the spaces actually connect. The format suits property, restaurants, hotels, gyms and showrooms.
- 02
Indoor flights
With guarded propellers and a route surveyed in advance, the drone passes where a conventional drone cannot. Halls, ice rinks, villas and warehouses become moving sets.
- 03
Action followed at close range
The FPV drone keeps pace with a mountain biker, a skier or a vehicle at close range. The speed reads on screen without any commentary.
- 04
Speed close to the ground
A pass just above the ground, the water or a facade creates a genuine sense of speed. That shot holds attention on Instagram and TikTok.
- 05
One shoot, several formats
The landscape edit serves your website and your campaigns. Vertical versions for Reels, TikTok and Shorts are added when the quote includes them.
- 06
A runtime of 30 s to 2 min
For a large venue, several short sequences hold attention better than one long shot. The finished video runs 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
What this changes for youA continuous take preserves the order of the spaces and their real distances. Viewers rebuild the venue without effort, as they would on a visit.
How an FPV shoot works
- 1
Site survey and flight plan
You state the entry point, the route and the exit you want. We survey the gaps, the ceiling heights and the obstacles, on site or from photographs and floor plans.
- 2
Flight safety
Propellers are guarded for any indoor flight and any flight near people. Outdoors, Skeyes authorisation is requested in advance where the controlled airspace requires it. On the day, the public is kept back during every pass.
- 3
Several passes
The same route is flown several times and the cleanest take is kept. If the weather is unfit to fly, rescheduling carries no charge.
- 4
Post-production and delivery
The footage goes through editing, colour grading and a sound mix. You receive the video within 3 to 5 working days, including vertical formats when the quote provides for them.
What this changes for youThe flight plan is fixed before take-off, so every pass follows the same route. Selection then happens between comparable takes.
Deliverables and turnaround
The main deliverable is an edited, colour-graded FPV video running 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Vertical formats for social media are supplied in addition when the quote includes them.
Allow 3 to 5 working days after the shoot. One revision is included to adjust the pacing, the soundtrack or the cut.
Commercial distribution rights are included: website, social channels and advertising campaigns. The fee depends on shooting time and deliverables, and the free quote is sent within 24 hours.

Brussels
Coverage area: Brussels, Belgium and Europe on request
DroneBXL is based in Brussels and covers all 19 Brussels municipalities, Walloon Brabant and Flemish Brabant. The rest of Wallonia and Flanders is covered, as is Europe on request. The FPV descent at an alpine ski resort is one example. Beyond 50 km, travel costs are stated in the quote. Almost all of Brussels sits in controlled airspace, and Skeyes authorisation for outdoor flights is handled for you. Indoors, guarded propellers and a cleared route remain standard whenever the public is present. Send the address of the venue and feasibility is checked before anything else.
FAQ
Common questions about an FPV shoot
Can you fly indoors?
Yes, indoor flight is the main use for an FPV drone. Propellers are guarded and the route is surveyed beforehand, as at the Poseidon ice rink and in a luxury villa.
FPV or conventional drone: which one do we need?
A conventional drone places the venue in its surroundings with slow, stable shots. FPV flies through it, and many projects combine both approaches.
How long is a finished FPV video?
Between 30 seconds and 2 minutes once edited. For a large venue, several short sequences hold attention better than one long shot.
Is there any risk to the public?
The shoot is prepared to rule that out: guarded propellers near the public and a cleared route on every pass. Flights are carried out by a DGTA-certified remote pilot under the EASA framework, with €1.6M professional liability cover.
